Education
For children who have been unsuccessful in the traditional classroom setting, the On-site Alternative Therapeutic School provides educational programs to fulfill students’ academic needs alongside the intensive, individualized counseling necessary to meet their social and emotional needs.
Specialized Services
The Hope Ranch School provides:
Certified teachers and highly trained staff
provide individualized and small group instruction
teacher to student ratio of 1:5 to 1:12, based on the individual needs of the students.
Individualized education plans for every student
developed and implemented by certified therapists, counselors, and educators
designed to help students reach both their academic and behavioral goals.
Preparation for students to transition back to a traditional school setting
Missouri curriculum standards are followed by all classes.
Students participate in activities designed to help transfer the skills learned at Hope Ranch to their new environment.
Students can participate in educational entrepreneurial programs to develop skill sets needed in future job markets.
Progress Measurement
Each student’s progress towards their academic, social, and emotional goals is continuously monitored and reported weekly to parents and support team members.
Accountability for overall academic progress will be measured by students’ results on state assessments as well as other norm-referenced assessments.

Ultimately, the goal of the Hope Ranch School is to widen the student’s vision, develop their self-confidence, and help them see that they are capable of independence, discovering new opportunities, and having a successful career.
